Our faithful spectator:

Little Miss Chatterbox saying, "This is the best day of my life, EVER!"

Look at that crazy hair! Mr. tickles laughed every time his sister or brother went down the slip n' slide:

And our #1 Favorite Slip n' Slide photo is:

We couldn't help but laugh at this one!! Wipe out!

Summer Fun

The best $5 I've spent this summer: A slip n' slide on clearance! The kids loved it.

Murder Mystery Party

My brother hosted a Murder Mystery Dinner Party at his house this past Saturday. Have you ever played one? They're a lot of fun! It's neat to get an invitation in the mail telling which part you are to play. Then you get to dress up and at the party you read from a script. This was my third time at one of these and it never gets old. We had a great time and my brother's food was delicious. He did vegetarian food for Ang and ya'know what? I didn't miss the meat at all!

Okay, so here's the run down on the situation. Mark and Victoria Lester are a rich couple who always had wonderful dinner parties. Until the last party, when Victoria was poisoned and died. SO, who done it? Was it:
MARK LESTER? Victoria's Husband

ELEANOR? Mark's Secretary and Friend of Victoria

ROBERT? Mark's Business Associate and Right-Hand man

CHRISTOPHER? Victoria and Marks good for nothin' son

DESIREE? Christopher's girlfriend whom Victoria did not approve

CANDY? Desiree's mom. The flirty widow next door

DOROTHY MAY? Victoria's eccentric sister
OR

WILLIAM "Big Bill"? Dorothy's Husband

IT WAS:

ELEANOR!!! the secretary who was in love with her boss. hahaha. So corny, but it was fun!

Singin' in the Rain

"Rain, rain, go.... nowhere!"

The kid's love it when it rains thanks to Grammy, who bought them rain coats and rain boots. (Francis didn't have his jacket yet when I took these pictures)

2nd Place ain't Bad

Mike's been playing on our Church's softball team for the past few seasons now and this year they finally won a trophy! Sure, it was 2nd place but it's still a trophy! And these men played hard and fast and really put on a good show. It was so much fun to watch. The last few games were nail biters and I really thought they were going to win it all. Maybe next year. Congratulations, St. John's!

(Mike's on the bottom right, behind the trophy)
That's a great group of ball players right there.

VBS at St. John's

Little Miss Chatterbox took part in our Church's Vacation Bible School. It was a week long and she loved it! Every day when I would pick her up she would tell me what virtues she learned, some information on the saint's, and of course what they ate for snack. ;) She also brought home some very impressive crafts each day.

1. A stained glass of Jesus
2. A Monstrance (my favorite!)
3. A Sacred Heart magnet and
4. A St. Jude holy water font

She's sad it's over but it's already time for CCD registration. School time is just around the corner...

We're Goin' to the Zoo

Last Saturday Mike and I took the kids to the National Zoo in D.C. Parking was horrible and there was more walking than animals but the kids had a good time. I wasn't too impressed and actually prefer a more local zoo in Winchester. But it was still a fun adventure.

Me- "So, kids. What was your favorite part about the zoo?"
Little Miss Chatterbox- "Seeing the cheetah!"
Mr. Funny- "When the gorilla showed us his butt!"

It's certainly never boring with boys around.
